Picnic - Pack a picnic, cook a beachside BBQ, or enjoy fresh fish and chips at the many picnic tables and decks along the Esplanade.

Fishing - Grab your fishing line & bait and head to the iconic 868m long Urangan Pier. Many kids learn to fish during family holidays at Hervey Bay.

What can you catch? Longtail Tuna, Mackerel, Queenfish, Cobia, Golden Trevally, Black Marlin, Snapper, Threadfin Salmon, Flathead, Barramundi along with many more Trevally, estuary and reef species!
