Adventure Hiking
An adventure hike is a self-guided hiking experience with no outside help or support ideal for adventurers who want to carry their own backpacks. It's a great way to experience the true beauty of K'gari (Fraser Island) your own way!
- Hikers carry 70Ltr hiking packs with all food and utilities (e.g. tents, cookers)
- Includes a 4WD transfer to the drop off and pickup locations
- Group numbers range from a min 2 to max 6
- Hiking equipment provided (backpack, tent etc)
- All hikes operate from March to October
- Bush drop toilets, no showers, no electricity

What To Bring:

Safety - Fraser Island Hiking take safety seriously knowing Fraser Island is a remote wilderness with limited mobile coverage. Solo hiking is not permitted & we provide hikes with the SPOT GEN 3 which is a satellite GPS messenger that can send updated locational information back to base or be activated in an emergency situation.
Coast to Coast 3 Days
As the name states, this adventure hike takes you from the east coast to the west coast of K'gari (Fraser Island) experiencing the best it has to offer! See the world famous Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby, spectacular towering rainforest, pristine lakes, amazing sand blows and great scenic views.

Valley of the Giants 4 Days
Embark upon an amazing 4 day/3 night hike where you walk under some of the largest living trees on K'gari (Fraser Island) in the spectacular Valley of the Giants. Part of the hike is dedicated to exploring the two largest trees on the Island - the Giant Satinay and the Giant Tallowood. The remaining time of the hike is dedicated to swimming in K'gari's must do perched lakes, Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby. As you walk under the forest giants from location to location, you will pass through incredible stands of brush box and satinay trees, open forest, heathland and untouched rainforest.
